Pieces
Torn from me
Scattered in the bitter winds of Uncertainty
Disillusioned
In Pain
Swirled like snowflakes in the perpetual winter of my life.
Then you came
A warm and colorful Cézanne in relief
of what I had become.
You rotated my world
away from Winter’s cold grasp
I reveled in the warmth of my first Spring.
Your Love
carried on lavender-scented air
with a hint of wild thyme and the sea
was the magnet that drew me,
all my fragments,
To You
In your presence
I grew Whole again.
