My Adult Side

When I first got back into writing, I found myself at a severe loss for what to write. I just couldn't seem to get the juices flowing. No pun intended, but hey, it works. A friend of mine who writes suggested that I try erotic/romance after a lengthy discussion about the merits of porn-for-girls . She said that it could be very good practice in descriptive and narrative writing. So I went for it. This is what comes from 15 month deployments where physical contact is strictly forbidden and anything remotely exciting is zealously hunted down and removed so as not to overly excite us none-too-stable fighting men and women. But we Soldiers are nothing if not creative. If we can't find it, we'll make it ourselves.
