Your, time on earth, was for naught
You, showed me what love is, taught me to love
Our time, together was brief
You, filled our lives, with love
You, lived each day, as though it was your last
I thank God, every day for our time together
You, were one of God’s angels, just waiting to go home
You, suffered, so we would not have to
Your, loving nature, is your legacy
