OH HOW I LONG
Oh how i long,
for the days of my youth.
Alot of things were simpler,
and this is the truth.
But then again
time has flown by.
Lots of time
I had to cry.
Pick up the pieces,
of a world torn apart.
Especially when he
broke my heart.
I wouldn't trade,
a day that we shared,
Because we were young lovers
We both really cared.
Wonderful chidlren who
were a part of our life.
We both have had
our share of strife.
He made me his wife,
After twenty odd years,
mended my heart.
Wiped away my tears.
But a lasting marriage ,
Just wasn't meant to be.
FOR NOW ANOTHER LOVE
STANDS BESIDE ME.
