Just let go

Filled with rage,
stuck in a cage,
of steel and glass....

Cowboys with a noose,
waving a flag of truce,
how long will it last....

A lawyer who can not laugh,
watched by the staff,
now three months in.....

Turn to God in prayer,
fully in his care,
reflecting on my sin....

Trying not to hide,
let Him be the guide,
to things I just do not know....

Looking for earthly treasures,
I am blessed beyond all measure,
if I would just let go...
