The Big Apple couldn't get any better for this fashion freak!
I looked out the condensed window and saw nothing but bright lights. "Wow," I thought as a little smirk pulled at the edges of my mouth. The seat belt sign quickly lit up with a sharp DING! and the plane started descending. I fastened my seat belt and sat back into the hideous purple chair, still staring at the lights down below. The plane was finally on the runway and getting hooked up to the departure gate.

"At this time you are free to leave your seat and grab all items from the over head cabinet. Thank you for flying with us today, and welcome to New York City."

"I'm here!" the little voice in my head screamed. I yanked my seat belt off and got up to get my bag. Of course my bag was the Louis Vuitton on top. I reached out to grab it when the old man that had sat behind me the whole flight got to it before I could. "Here you go! " he said with a cheshire smile and wink. "Thank you." I said quickly as I snatched my beloved bag from his wrinkled hands. I turned around and started for the door. I hated the sounds you can hear as you walk through the "hallway" from the plane to the actual building.

Once inside the airport I made my way to the baggage carousel. Fifteen minutes and about eight dirty looks from surrounding women later my pink luggage came around. I swiftly pulled all my bags from the still moving carousel. "Once I'm in the Fashion District I'll be fine." that little voice in my head said reassuringly. I took a luggage cart with all my stuff on it and wheeled it to where my taxi would be waiting for me.

Once outside the building I found a cab and was asked " Where to?" as I was helped with putting my luggage in the trunk. "215 Seventh Avenue, the Fashion District."
