If you should play upon the ocean shore and walk
amongst the shells; per-chance you pick one up to
see a reflection of yourself.
What would you find, what would you see, looking
deep into your eyes?
A child at play, so lonely.
A father tending a cut from a shell that would leave
a scar to remember this day.
We often see lovers, hand in hand; splashing their
feet as each wave ebbs itself out on the sand.
Echo's of sea gulls over head as they cry. Knowing
near by a sad lady setting on a rock.
The moan of the water coming into a cave. Washing
down the sides, for a moment, then sliding back out
into the sea. The walls sparkle and shine.
All is not gold that glitters they say, so beware of false-
hoods. You see, be true to yourself, and those you love.
Ask for wisdom and understanding, but above all ask
for love. Because, with Love, comes wisdom and under-
standing, long suffering and patience; joy in giving.
