                                          Looking into your EYES!


As I look into your eyes,
    I can see the starry skies,
    I can fly away free,
    As far as I can see.

I get lost in your deep brown eyes--
    -like in an enchanted wood,
      yet I've never felt so good.

It feels like all the ties are torn
      and I can just go on and on.
  I can laugh, dance and cry
  Without anyone asking me why.

And all this I can feel-altogether
      in moments like no other.

Your touch sets me free,
        and that's all I want to be.
So I try very hard to reach--
        those longing, loving cheeks.

But when I've made you my destination
        and have overcome all hesitation,
        I find nothing but thin air---
        to end my tragic affair,
Reminding me there and then
        that I can never look into your eyes again!
