Enigma

Feeling invisible to some

A speck of dust floated down

in front of your camera lens.

You never knew it was there

till you developed your picture.

Then it became an enigma.

Was it a spirit that you captured?

Someone reaching out for recognition,

saying, "hello, I am here."

Or was it a figment of your imagination?

You begin to search for answers,

ask your friends 'what could it be?'

You seek out their opinion

no one knowing that it was just me.

I am invisible to your naked eye,

and an unsolved mystery as I leave.
