Peace on Earth |
"And Jesus passing by, saw a man, who was blind from birth: And his disciples asked him: Rabbi, who hath sinned, this man, or his parents, that he should be born blind? Jesus answered: Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents; but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.(JN 9:1-3)" The daughters of the sons of God roamed the land in search of the Tree of Wisdom. Their gentle lamentations were echoed in the wilderness "How will we find peace in this wild land? O bitter is the taste of knowledge. Shall, we cast our children from the cliff clutched to our bosom?" So hard was their lives. The Angel Gabriel took pitty. And with a mighty trumpet called a legion of Heavenly Guardians to them. "Is the Serpent the master of our children?" Gabriel pleaded, "Does the Eagle know what is in the pit?" The daughters of the sons of God were stripped naked by Angelic embrace; "O gentle Angels take us high into the clouds!" The Lord of Heaven commanded, "Wilt thou trust him that he will render thee the seed, and gather it into thy barnfloor? The wing of the owl is like the wings of the heron and hawk. When she leaveth her eggs on the earth, thou perhaps wilt warm them to the dust. She forgetteth the foot may tread upon them, or that the beasts of the field may break them. She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not hers, she hath laboured in vain, no fear constraining her. For God hath deprived her of wisdom, neither hath he given her understanding.(Job 39:13-17)" The daughters of the sons of God had abandoned their babes in the wilderness. The wolves moved swiftly to their feast. A great cry could be heard in the Heavens: "Let us fall! Our children our helpless!" The Lord of Heaven answered, "Is your kingdom of this world? I made the lion and the Lamb.+ I kill. I make alive." Lightning fell apon the wilderness scattering the wolves. A gentle rain kept the fire from the babes. And like doves each daughter found her child and clutched them dearly to their breasts. Gabriel bowed his head, knealt apon the hallowed ground, "You have shown me the error of my ways. Who is like onto God?" Reflections: "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth. For the first heaven and the first earth was gone, and the sea is now no more.(Apoc21:1)" =+= |
