Raindrops

Tiny drops of life,
Falling from above,
Small and insignificant
until they make a whole.

Falling down upon the earth,
Landing onto leaves,
Giving precious life,
To what would otherwise never be.

Flowing into rivers,
On to endless seas.
Flowing with one another,
merging into one.

All the same,
Yet ever changing.
A never ending journey,
With ever changing paths.

They leave the earth,
And are forgotten,
Only to fall again,
Continuing their endless journey.

A journey always beginning.
Yet a journey with no start,
A journey with many ends,
Yet no real end.
