A painting in your mind

My mind began to unwind; the air released from my lungs is smoky.

My vision blurs and the world is a painting

My life doesn't matter, everything seems too surreal

The world is no longer the same

Colors are brighter

Shapes are misshapen

Light is too strong or too dark

Smells & tastes are like mini orgasms

A little bit of heaven if you will

Then it all goes away, time seems to slow

As it passes you have forgotten what it is you have done

It seemed to take for ever but now you can hardly remember it

Then you pass out, you wake up in a haze

The world is real again

All you can think of is, when the world will once again be like a painting
