"The Real/Pretender"

Have you ever been in a relationship where you wonder things about the other person?
This someone, who you thought was a sweet person,
You found later that they were petty, spiteful and hateful,
A character that showed you who they were, but you continued to give them the benefit of the doubt,
You believed deep down that no one could truly act like that,
A hater who will hang around for a time to find a weakness,
Plotting to take advantage of situations for their gain,
One who claims they love you, but does so much damage to you in anger,
Choosing not to allow them in to do damage is no deterrent,
They will continue until they hurt you,
What type of person is like this?
Where does this type of person come from?
Are people born with predetermined genes that allow you to hurt others?
A person who will cry to all that will hear that you have done them wrong when you fight back,
Once you stop allowing them to take your peace they tell whoever will listen you are a terrible person,
Telling half stories leaving out what they did to you,
Leaving out the physical and mental pain they caused you,
They will scream you are a liar when you bring all of their ugliness to the light,
They yell as they point the finger at you,
The word game is what I like to call it.
The, I did not say this, but I did say that,
HER ego plays simple games because SHE don't know any better,
Game played, but you win, you are still in the penalty,
Have you ever been loved by Her who creates havoc?
What do you do with this person?
Once you see them for who they are,
Once you realize that they mean you no good,
When you sit back and think about all those who ran away before,
Even those who did not run but knew they had to escape,
The truth is that you can never make them happy, because they will never be happy.
These type of people will suck you dry emotionally,
When you are tired of them and their ways it is your fault,
One you cannot put anything past,
They will try to hurt you
Taking away jobs, cars or whatever they can to hurt you.
Mean and ugly is what it is,
Rationalizing being hateful by claiming they are hurting.
How can one who caused so much pain be in pain?
Is this possible, can it really be?
You no longer react to their words,
You no longer pay attention to the attitude,
You do not let them ruin your day because they are unhappy,
Mind over matter, is the answer!
You used to beg HER not to go,
Now SHE won't fuckin leave,
You will not have peace because IT will not let peace be,
BITCH!!!!!
