I'm sitting here listening to music. Not loud, raucous, eardrum splitting stuff, but music that is contemplative (Enya). Most of it is upbeat. At moments like this I can physically feel the music. It reaches to the very core of my being and caresses my soul. I silently cry. Not sorrow-type crying, but deep emotion-type crying. And yet, I am encompassed by a sense of well-being.
I think this comes naturally with the Celtic blood flowing in my veins. This music is reminiscent of what was penned by my forebears. The music resonates within and connects with my past. It is like I have come home after a long absence.
