A girl trapped in the abyss of depression.
A drop of blood for every sin,
A drop of blood from deep within.
A drop of blood to right my wrongs,
A drop of blood for all I’ve done.

A drop of blood to cure the pain,
A drop of blood from every vein.
These drops of blood that fall like rain
Land on my pages and leave them stained.

My friends and sisters know not of this;
Know not of my scars and nighttime bliss.
Their laughs and jokes are all mockery
Of my days long ago when I was free.

I raise my head but all I see
Is that God has gone and so has he.
My only love, we were meant to be
Together forever, just you and me.

My only comfort is this blade
And all the cuts that it has made.
To bleed and bleed shall be my fate
Because all I feel is anger and hate.

When will it end?
This torture, this pain!
It takes me over
Again and again.

It feeds on my soul,
Leaves me dirty and cold
And it burns like the liquor I drink.
So much it hurts that I cannot think.

The loneliness engulfs.
No one is near.
If I shout,
Would anyone hear?

At nights I lie awake and stare
And contemplate what I’m doing here.
I am alone, lost and forgotten.
I have my letter, it’s already written.

“To all of those who remember me,
Those of you who couldn’t see,
The pain in my eyes and misery
I am gone now; I shall be free.

“My heart has stopped
With this final cut.
No more will I grieve
Or be forced to believe

“That I’m wanted here,
That anyone cares.
I know they’re all lies
And I deserve to die.

“So death shall be my final act
And I know just how you’ll react:
A smile will come across your face
There’ll be no more time for you to waste

“Pretending that I’m something to embrace.
Your selfishness, it sickens me.
It tastes like waste and dirt and pee!
Why didn’t you mean them,

“Those words you said?
If you really had, then I won’t be dead!
Damn you to hell! I’ll take you with me
To burn and burn for eternity.”
