The ultimate challenge of postive vs. negative in a battle in another dimension
                            The Mystical Kee

                                Kira Moon

                                                                                                                                             -1-

                    CHAPTER 1

The ethereal mists gently swirled over the planet called Dazine. They were different colors of purples and a slight touch of gold that threaded through the clouds of these majestic shapes. The Universe reveled in the glorious

mystical planet.

As the mists slowly ascended off the land and into the aura of the planet, the embodiment of Dazine showed through. It was unlike any other for it didn’thave time of the future.

This planet had two beating hearts that walked upon it. The reasons for only two beating hearts is that cosmic title waves washed over the planet with an electrical force that annihilated all living entities. Except….for these entities who were still in their shells.

One was waiting to be born into a world full of mystery and mysticism. The other was the caretaker of the egg that was buried deep in the back of an enormous cave and covered in its own mist of black. The black mist was an insulation barrier to the cosmic title waves and it surrounded the egg and another cocoon that held Diyag. Diyag was a Chakrina

bird whose skin was reptile-like, except for his wings which were hidden under a flap of skin, which would open when he wanted to fly.

Diyag had quickly spun for himself a cocoon, shrouded in black mist once the cosmic title waves had begun. Soon upon Dazine would emerge the last mystical dragon, Zycoff, who was left behind for a reason.

                                                                                      -2-

Zycoff was no ordinary dragon for he possessed mystical powers that were genetically handed down to him from his parents and he also possessed a certain information center that none of the other mystical dragons on Dazine had. Zycoff would have to learn of the mysticism within himself, by himself and from this information center and with the help of Diyag, his guide, for there was no other life upon Dazine.

As the Moons and Suns set their course to bring about a new cycle, the egg which encapsulated Zycoff was starting to crack open. The shell consisted of a web of colors that were as strong as the rocks that lay upon Dazine, but if one was to look at it, the egg looked almost transparent even though you couldn’t see him inside of it. The colors were programmed in their own rhythms of learning or Zycoff. Their codes were feeding him all the knowledge that a mystical dragon was to possess upon his first breath of life.

The shell would crack as if in a ritualistic dance, to expose the mighty dragon that lay inside. One crack to the left, one crack to the right and then a single crack down the middle, until the shell cracked in half and out sprung Zycoff. He looked around as his body was sheathing from its colorful prism. He twisted and turned, to and fro to escape his

prism of birth until he finally popped out. Zycoff looked back at the prism and he knew instinctively to lower his head to it and devour what was once his home.

-3-

The energy-laden egg was to give Zycoff his last learning lesson; a fusion was taking place where his knowledge would be stored, being placed into his body for future references.

“Welcome to Dazine, Zycoff,” Diyag said.  The bird flew up to the top of the dragon’s head and perched himself upon it. Zycoff immediately understood what Diyag had said.

“Who are you and where are my parents?” Zycoff inquired.

“I am Diyag, your guide. As for your parents, well there was cosmic title waves that destroyed all life on Dazine.”

“How come I wasn’t destroyed or you for that matter?” he questioned.

“Your egg was shrouded with black mist to insulate you from the cosmic storms. As for me, we knew that this storm was coming and it was agreed that I would spin a cocoon to survive so that you wouldn’t be alone on Dazine.

You and I have much preparation for this world, which I will tell you about later.”

“Well, why didn’t my parents spin cocoons too?” Zycoff asked in an infantile manner. Diyag flew down to where bits of the egg prism pieces were so  that he could talk eye to eye with Zycoff.

“Your parents were dragons like yourself. There wasn’t enough room in the cave for the dragon cocoons. Your egg alone is the span of twenty-five feet.

-4-

And there was no other form of shelter from the cosmic title waves.”

“But you said that your cocoon was shrouded in black mist. Couldn’t they have used the black mist also?”

“They could have, but this was the only cave big enough for you and there has to be shelter of rock to keep the shroud of black contained. The atmosphere would split the black mist and send it to all parts of Dazine and it wouldn’t have been effective.” Diyag knew that Zycoff would have many

questions upon his arrival to Dazine. Before Zycoff could get the next question ut, Diyag answered it. “Your parents decided on your name.” Just then Zycoff let out a laugh that with his breath knocked Diyag over. As Zycoff was still laughing at the bird falling over, Diyag was trying to compose himself, ighting wings and getting steady on his feet.  “I see you have your father’s sense of humor.”

“How long did you know my father?” Zycoff stopped laughing at the mention of his father.

“Forever, I was his guide, as I will be your guide.”

“Okay. What’s my first lesson?”

“Your first lesson is to not laugh in my direction for as you can see your mighty breath is too powerful for my little body.” Zycoff lowered his head as if in

-5-

shame of knocking over the Chakrina bird and now Diyag was laughing.

“What’s so funny?” Zycoff interjected.

“Don’t be shy around me Zycoff. We only have each other and this wasyour first lesson in your might compared to mine. Now, finish your egg while I go down for some water.”

Once Zycoff finished devouring the prism, he walked about to look for food. His mighty appetite was gnawing at his belly. He walked to the front of his cave and looked over his new home. He saw food a plenty all over Dazine and he

walked slowly down from his cave and glanced to his left then to his right. He walked up to an orchard-like valley that was filled with vegetation of all kinds of nutritious bounty.

First Zycoff pulled at a Ponfru tree. A lightly scented bluish

plant that was low to the ground, but had mighty branches of nutrient filled nuts.

Zycoff popped off the watermelon sized pods with ease and continuously devoured at least ten of them. He then proceeded down by the water, for he was thirsty.  He bent his head down to drink of the sunshine yellow water, for he

knew by instinct that yellow would teach him many things.

Just then his mighty head lurched upwards. He heard a noise in the distance that sounded like a whistle and humming combined. He swung his mighty head back and forth. He spotted Diyag frolicking in the yellow water,

-6-

apparently washing himself. Zycoff decided to follow suit and went into the water and swished his tail back and forth, but far enough away from Diyag. He didn’t want to send the bird into flight without his wings!

All at once the soft pink sky above turned red and opened up, shooting bolts of dark red upon Dazine. Zycoff looked at Diyag as his guide told him to getback to the cave as quickly as possible. Diyag flew back in an instant while he

had to swing his huge body around and out of the water to run into his cave.

Again a bolt of red cracked down from the pink sky, almost hitting Zycoff, but he made it back to his cave safely. He peered out of the opening to watch the storm of red fury hit his new home.

“What is that?” Zycoff asked Diyag, almost out of breath.

“Bolt storm,” Diyag stated. “But don’t get caught by one of the red bolts or else you’ll lose your mystical powers. During a cycle of Moons and Suns when one of these storms came, another mystical dragon was eating when the storm rained down and a red bolt struck him. From then on he couldn’t do anything mystical. So afterwards, when these storms would come, all the dragons that were

mystical would go into a cave to wait it out. The poor dragon eventually died cause you can’t survive on Dazine unless you have mystical powers.”

-7-

“But Diyag if we have these powers, why couldn’t we stop the red bolts from coming?”

“Because the red bolts are from the Universe and the Universe contains our laws. We don’t remove elements directly from the Universe. But that is another lesson at another time.”

Zycoff didn’t push for answers at the moment. He wanted to watch the red bolts as they struck the purple soil. They flashed out of the pink sky and littered the ground, but they didn’t harm anything in its path. Just then bursts of white light came showering down from the sky and the red bolts ceased. The yellow Suns shown down on Dazine, and Diyag and Zycoff made their way out of the cave once more and down to the water to finish drinking and bathing. Zycoff lowered his mighty head to the yellow water and

proceeded to drink once more.

“What does all of Dazine look like?” Zycoff queried as he lifted his head up from the water, which was trickling out the sides of his mouth. “Is the whole planet filled with trees and bushes and pools of yellow water?”

“No Dazine has many different places to see. The Listenia Pools and the Meta Mountain.”

“But are you sure they’re all still there? I mean with the cosmic storm and all. What if they’re not there anymore? Can we go exploring to find out?

-8-

“They are there. When I’m not with you, I have been flying around to see all these places and they are still in tact.” Diyag saw a bit of disappointment on the young dragon’s face as he spoke. “Okay let’s go then. I’ll take you to some of the closer places.  Would you like that?”

“Oh yes! I would like that very much. I want to see where my parents lived and if you would, to show me the areas that they frequented the most.”

“I think you’ll find that Dazine is a good place to live, even though it is only you and I.” As Zycoff walked along, following Diyag’s flight path, he took in everything around him. There were the bluish Ponfru trees scattered about, but they were closer to rock formations than standing alone on the purple soil. As they went further away from what Zycoff knew as his home, he saw many strange looking things. One of these was a pit of sorts. At the bottom of this pit was a clearing. Diyag saw that the young mystical dragon had stopped, so he flew over to him.

“This place is called Lilyakian. Lilyakian was used for gatherings of the Chakrina birds. They performed different types of movements like dancing that would signify a great celebration. This was like a feast gathering, where one was

at the head of the ceremony and the others came to either pay tribute to another or

to come together and have fun.” Diyag was thinking back to the many

-9-

celebrations he had attended there.

“What’s dancing?” Zycoff asked as he looked over the entire area with two turns of his head.

“Dancing is a type of body movement, that when music is played, we would sway our bodies too.”

“What’s music?”

“Music is the resonation of vibrations that come from wind blowing through the trees and through the chimes that the Hallions had brought to Dazine many cycles of Moons and Suns ago.” Before Zycoff could ask who the Hallions

were, he continued. “Hallions are light beings. They didn’t actually have a form, they resembled orbs of light with tiny extending threads that would reach out and they

would touch each other. The Hallions lived on the energy of each other. Each Hallion was but one thread of the whole. When they extended their thread to each other they almost appeared to be holding extremities. These Hallions brought with them the wind chimes which were made of different trees on their planet.”

Just then a small gust of wind appeared and it hit one of the chimes in a Frugello tree. The sound was delightful to Zycoff’s ears. He could actually feel the vibrations of the noise in his tiny ears.

-10-

“Okay how do I dance?”

“Watch me and learn,” the Chakrina bird responded. With that, Diyag began to move his body in rhythmic sways to the many chimes that were now blowing with the touch of the wind. Zycoff saw that when the sound shifted, so did Diyag, in a different direction.

“But how do you know what sound it will make next to move your body in a certain way?”

“Listen with your heart and spirit and it will show you the way.” The mystical dragon started his own body movements. Even though he couldn’t fit down in the pit circle where Diyag was, he stood up above and made his own movements.

“This is fun! Grally!” he exclaimed. As the soft wind died down, the chimes slowly stood at attention, not stirring at all and the melodious sound stopped. “Where to now?” he asked with enthusiasm.

“Follow me young Zycoff.” As the Chakrina bird took flight once more,  he obediently followed. They walked past enormous boulders, even taller than Zycoff. The color of the soil was starting to change from purple to blue. It wasn’t

as solid as the purple soil of Dazine, it was more like sand. Zycoff could feel his body sink down a bit into the blue sand as he walked his mighty body across it.

-11-

Off in the distance Zycoff saw something. No matter what he was passing along the way, his eyes were trained to this structure up ahead in the distance. He was

mesmerized by it and so much so that he didn’t even hear Diyag talking to him until the Chakrina bird landed on his face.

“What? Um….what?” was all he could mutter, his eyes still transfixed to the structure about ten feet in front of them.

“Zycoff you wanted to see more of Dazine and I’m trying to teach you of the things that we are walking past, but you’re not even listening to a word I’m saying.” The mystical dragon started to slowly walk toward the structure, with

Diyag still perched on his snout. Just then Diyag flew off and turned frontward. He now spotted what Zycoff had seen from a further distance away.

“No wonder you’re not answering me. You’re transfixed on the ship. I wasn’t aware that the ship was still here. After all these cycles, imagine that.”

“What is a ship? What is it used for?”

“A ship is a vessel that takes you to another place. Ships sail over the water. When the Hallions were here hundreds of cycles ago, they brought this  with them. They set it on the Mystical Sea and traveled it in all the time,” he saw

that Zycoff was only half paying attention, so he decided to fly over to the vessel and land upon it. Upon doing so, Zycoff started to run, to reach the ship faster. As

-12-

he ran, the blue sand was being kicked up into great clouds of dust, which in turn got all over him. Now Zycoff looked like a blue speckled dragon, with some undertones of his white body underneath. Before he approached the ship, he

shook his body and the sand fell back down to the planet’s floor.

“What’s a ship?” he asked again.

“Well, if you would have paid attention the first time you asked me, you would know already,” he laughed. The Chakrina bird was amused with Zycoff’s playfulness.

“A ship is used to transport things from one place to another. The Hallion’s used this ship when they came to Dazine as sort of a home base, being there was no other accommodations for them.”

“Well how come it’s not in the Mystical Sea? Didn’t you just say that this ship travels on the water?”

“It was probably thrown here during the cosmic tidal waves. Yes, that is what I am receiving from within me. My intuition is telling me that with the force of the cosmic tidal waves, it just picked this up like a pebble and tossed it here in the blue sand.” Zycoff walked all around the ship to access it as Diyag continued.

“The ship is ten feet high, and from bow to stern twenty feet long. The bow is the front and the stern is the back of the ship. There are different levels on

-13-

the ship that are only about two feet apart, from one level to the other. These levels contained the different colored Hallion’s and each had their own level to dwell on. The holes along the side of the ship were used for leaving one level and going to another. The Hallion’s would float. If the atmospheric conditions were of the nature for inclement weather, these holes would then be sealed until the storm

passed. What most didn’t know is that when Hallion’s are inside a shelter of sorts, their bodies change from light beings to that of a body with three legs and wings. The legs are to stand them up to walk about on their ships and the middle leg is a type of feeler that tests the ground of whatever they are standing on or wherever they may be. I saw them with this other body when they were aboard their ship and I was flying overhead and peered into one of the holes. I then landed on this window and spoke with them.”

“Were they upset with you?” Zycoff asked as he made his way around to the front of the ship again.

“Not at all. They invited me to go inside, which I did and we spoke of  Hallion and of here, Dazine. The Hallion’s taught many on Dazine of Light and how to share with one another, especially when other species would come to our planet. Not all the mystical dragons liked that we constantly had visitors from other planets and at times there would be many a confrontation, as to

-14-

territorial rights and so forth. The Hallion’s didn’t pose as a threat to Dazine, for they were here to teach, not squabble and fight over such trivial things as territory. When the Hallion’s left, the mystical dragons and the other Chakrina birds were sad to see them go, for they saw the Hallion’s as true friends, and learned much from them.”

“Do you think the Hallion’s will ever come back here? I would like to see these beings of light.”

“Maybe,” Diyag responded as he and Zycoff turned around to go back towards home.
