Memories I belonged with you On those sunny drenched days Filled with vibrant colors Catching flashing rays Traces of young nonsense Sprouting through some fun Nothing in the way Unplanned and simply done Blooming kisses awakening Near the water sparkling near Two roads transversed each other And we jumped in without fear Tears of pain and calming laughter Followed us along The wind as our direction Nothing could go wrong Freed yet tackled harshly By great and pouring care Smiles that veiled our worries Hugs that would repair Pink and white frames Memories in each Foaming baths and showers Not beyond our reach Light sound waves through whispers On simply marvelous nights Lost inside perfection When we turned off all the lights The softness of our lips Against our skin Producing soothing melody Like the finest violin At times we stepped inside fire Poisoned apples too Tainted by our sin forgiveness we perused And traveling like a strong boat Through the fierce and widen waves We reached our destination The end was strong and brave And from the sky we fell upon We step down once again With a wonderful reality That forever we’ll retain |
