Making Opportunities Count

There once was a troubled boy that always longed for one things, this thing was the opportunity to be somebody in life. Although his family did not have alot of money the one thing he knew would get him to being someone in life was the chance to get an education. So one day while in school he decided that he would take advantage of this OPPORTUNITY. So one day he was told that he would never be anything in life, he replied that as long as i take advantage of this educational opportunity I can be anything I want to be. Later own in his life he decided that he had taken the right opportunity in life. From this I want my readers to learn that in life we get hundreds of opportunities 25% of them we most likely won't take. You see when an opportunity comes around choose with the desire of your heart, many people have taken opportunites that they were not destined to take. Life is too short to wonder all the time why you did not take an opportunity. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said, " why should a man or woman be caught out in their back yard looking for four- leaf clovers when opportunity knocks at your front door". From my point of view that opportunity is the first step that you take beyond that door towards success. Remember this if you take the wrong opportunity do not hold on to that guilt or unsatifactory, move on in life and give it another shot, because life is the first opportunity that you get. Make use of it, don't let it make use of you.
