This poem is about finding yourself.
Majestic Flight

The jungle was a festive place,
It was time was for the annual race,

Bo was a bird with a funny gait,
Running fast was not his trait,
Everyone made his fun,
A laggard like Bo was none,

Every now and then, Bo so desired,
I hope I can be admired,
He decided to take part in the game,
Thinking this could be his claim to fame,

Bo bird ran very fast,
But alas, he was the very last,

Dejected, he sat on a tree,
Others just chuckled with glee,

I told you, Loony lion said,
Why run when you can hardly tread,

Mama bird said, try again and again,
Ten hours a day you must train,

Sandy squirrel said, your legs are too lean,
Need to eat that protein,

In the jumble of all the advice,
Out came the inner voice,

That he was no-good was not the case,
He was running the wrong race,

This rat race is simply not worth a try,
Why run, when you can fly,

Those lean legs which were his bane,
Suddenly became a big gain,

With all watching in awestruck delight,
Off he went on a majestic flight.
