My Star

Here it is getting later and later by the hour,
All comfortable and clean, fresh out of the shower.
Head rested on the pillow, warm covers pulled up tight,
Body relaxed, mind cleared, soothed by the dimming light.
All ready to dream while laying in bed,
My eyes stay open, on my mind you stay instead.
With sleep I fight,
Thinking about you makes me feel alright.
I don't think you know how amazing you truely are,
Your amazing when your close and even when your far
I do a lot to keep you as happy as you could be,
All because your the best thing that has ever happened to me.
You've helped me in more ways than once,
You've been my first for alot of things and the list has just begun.
The world might be sour but your the sweetest thing to me,
The world might not look, but I want everyone to see;
How amazing and great you really are,
How brightly you out shine every star.
I couldn't ask for anything more,
Because I love you and cannot wait to see what is in store!
