The meadow

one beautiful day

Grass so long it caresses my thighs
Sun so intense its blinding my eyes.

Wild bluebells swaying gently in the mildest breeze
The birds that scatter as I approach the trees.

The sound of the babbling brook as i near
An horizon so blue, so deep and so clear.

The butterfly dancing nymph like and free
The hum of the hectored worker bee.
