More pain for your soul
As I awake in a sweat, I am alone again.
I watched you walk away, completely numb from the pain.
You were more then just a friend, that much you already know.
You got inside my soul,and you take it when you go.
I live with this anger, a hardened pain, regret.
I watched you walk away, I knew your heart was set.
And if you ever return,my heart then turned to stone,
I'll remember you walked away, leaving me all alone.
