Our Dear Loved One

We had you for 26 years.
Though you left us with these sad,sad tears.
We know you loved us as we have loved you,
You've been here for us all and we hate that you're gone,
But just know that your love and memory will forever be carried on.
You lived a life that some would say -- It would be nice to be loved that way,
if just for a day!
We're going to miss you with all our hearts and cherish you forever even though
we are far apart.
There will come a day when we shall meet again,as we walk those streets of gold.
