rewite the ending of the film Penelope
A Cracker box

Penelope is about a young girl born under a curse because of her aristocratic family and its scandal. The only way to break the curse is finding her true love “one who will love her faithfully” and accepts her totally. Penelope Wilhem becomes the victim of the Wilhern spell by a witch. Her mother, Jessica hided her from the world and Penelope was raised alone. As she growing as a young lady, her mother tried to find a wealth bachelor to marry her and break the curse. Meanwhile, the tabloid reporter Lemon and the aristocrat Edward hired Max to meet Penelope and get a photo of her. However, Max took a liking to Penelope. Since he was too poor to help her get rid of the curse, he declined marrying her. Eventually, Penelope run away from her shelter and explore the world on her own. She made her first friend Annie, luckily, and gain rich experience, which taught her “I like myself the way I am”. What’s next? All the roles in this story find their positions: Penelope harvests rich experience and gets a cracker box; Max quits gambling; Edward is reward a large lesson.

Penelope runs her own business. What happen? Since she escaped from her mother’s protection successfully, she enjoys drinking and taking in the Chill bar where she met her friend Annie. Drinking let her feel free, equal, and ordinary like majority. Perhaps her nose is the unique one in the world. Moreover, drinking remains her of Max, a guy pleasuring her so much. By accident, one day after drunk she full down. Annie had to take off her scarf, fresh air blowing on Penelope’s face, but her secret is revealed. Odd news always spread quickly. All the newspaper, magazines and TVs report her special nose. To be gratified, people embrace Penelope instead of excluding her on the ground of her refinement in taste and manners, well cultured and polished. She dress decent to attend charity parties, plays games with children and replies letters to someone. Undoubtedly, she becomes Goodwill Ambassador. Under this circumstance, she established a fund for disable children and persuades her mother to denote money. In her ‘Sun Center’, blind children learn singing while the deaf spend time writing or drawing. Penelope gradually forgets her pig nose by transferring notice to what she does for the society.

Penelope still keeps alone. Sometime she sits down near the window and she thought of that marriage interview only Max didn’t leave, of that argue she begged Max to marry her but failed. It has been 8880 hours and 50 minutes since the last time she saw Max. Maybe anyone isn’t willing to marry me and I will keep my pick-like nose in the rest of life, Penelope thought. On the Christmas Eve, she heard knock on the door. When she opened, she found anything beside a cracker box lying on the ice ground.

Camera lens focused on Max who is playing the piano in the public square of Paris. The melody, Moonlight Sonata, permeates the thick stone wall, arouses insects from hibernate, and block the feet of pacer. Music calms Max down and cures his self-abandonment. Since the last time he saw Penelope, his figures touches the piano again and then max is back to his old self. He quitted the gambling successfully. Paris is his 15th traveling station. He goes around the world relying on piano performance to support his finance. Why he does this decision? Because he plans to experience every corners of the world instead of Penelope whose feet are limited to the doorsill. Furthermore, he hopes he could raise a large amount of money by performances.

Edward, our pride and notable “gentlemen”, reaped the whirlwind he had himself stirred up. He always uses dirty words to attack Penelope’s kind behavior, like’ affected charity can’t neither save your ugly face nor evil’. He married a beautiful woman. Unexpectedly, the woman is a cheater. Her pretty face is for cosmetic surgeon’s sake; her loyal heart to Edward is on purpose to thieve his money. Finally, Edward fails to talk, walk or act when she put a little poison in his meals everyday. Sadly, when everyone knows the truth the woman has already live happily in another country with a large amount of money.

With the chorus singing hymn outside, Penelope opened the box in the front of the fireplace. There were so many staff in it, such as postcards、letters、photos、tickets and newspaper clipping about her. She couldn’t believe all these things from Max who she thought is disappear forever. She read them carefully, one by one. This moment she was sure that Max loves her and never forgets her. She whispered, “I like myself the way I am. Please come back. I don’t need you to break my curse anymore. Please!”  Suddenly bark enclosing the house, motionless air hugging her, Penelope fainted down on the floor. When she awake, she saw Max was looking at her. She hugged him tightly, crying.

Definitely, Penelope got rid of the curse when she woke. Max begins to help her ‘Sun Center’. He plays piano and teaches the kids singing. The story is just beginning rather than end. Penelope finds her own level and she is used to reading everything in the cracker box indefatigably during afternoon tea everyday. No one will print ‘gamble guy’ on Max again. And Edward pays for his actions.
