A series of short poems; brief and in need of review! |
Stupid Dumbness The amount of all the stupid, The amount of sheer dumb, Always seems to floor me. And as a parent I gaze with love, At all the stupid dumbness ‘round me. Solace Tonight In the still of the night, I mourn the distant light, I’m seeking solace tonight. With nothing to guide me, I stumble ‘round blindly, Still I’m unable to see Crossing Stormy Seas The swells of insanity, Lift and drop the deck. Pitching us towards… The abyss below. Winds of Montana Awash in the winds of Montana, Wind, sun, cold, and wind… Baptized in her wild beauty. Living right here. With forever on my mind. Gift of Poison I have a gift, That is a curse. I love to hate it. This is my life, Soon my demise. My dreams illicit. I push on still, Wanting to stop. But I hate to quit. My curse forever. My damnation. I love to love her. Nothing If you are reading this You’ve surpassed my expectations. And it has cost you nothing, Nothing… I yearn for acceptance, Expression and passion, Yet find instead nothing, Nothing… But I know you won’t, Can’t or will not. To you I am nothing, Nothing, Nothing... |
