Love -
          the very strength
          of my existence
          through which
          all I will become
          would cease
          to be without its light

Love -
          my very weakness
          with its lack of logic
          causing me to step into
          the abyss
          by a mere
          leap of faith

Love -
          a constant companion
          lifting me up
          to meet my potential
          bringing me
          a sense of purpose
          a sense of peace

Love -
          that mocking entity
          destroying all in its wake
          leaving me tortured
          to feel its embrace
          bringing me to this madness
          stumbling in blind insanity

Love -
          for some heaven
          for others hell
          a blinding force
          that seeks to build up
          even as it destroys
