This Is Me

Welcome to my bio. My name is Jamie but around here I go by TyroScribe or Tyro. Life has thrown me a few curve balls over the past year and I just found my way back to WDC after a long absence. I love learning. Taking advantage of the classes offered is one way for me to feel involved in the WDC environment. Learning the basics of writing seems like the best place to start.

Writing is a great distraction from my sometimes hectic life. I like to try all writing styles and just have fun with it. I have many stories floating around in my head and find it soothing to breath some life into them. Maybe someday I will find the time and gumption to write that book I am always talking about.

Reading is my passion. From novels to brochures, if it has words chances are I will read it. Personally, I don't care for a lot of unnecessary blood and gore. I haven't shared enough written works to say I have found something I am confident in calling a strength. I have identified many weakness mostly grammar errors. Dialog is also a problem area for me.

I am looking forward to reading, sharing and learning.
