[Introduction]
LILY IN WONDERLAND

Grandma Alice loved mirrors. It was her birthday tonight and Lily wanted to get her a grand mirror. A special present would make the day memorable.
Lily went to Tweeters Wonderland Antiques. The shop was huge. It had a whole isle devoted to mirrors of all shapes and sizes. Lily wanted a perfect mirror for Grandma and all she saw at first were cracked and broken ones. "Why would the store sell broken mirrors?" she thought. Lily found a really pretty one at the end of the isle. It was a standing mirror that had a gold and silver trim on it. The glass looked brand new in it and there weren't any scratches. It had to be hundreds of dollars. Lily only had $50 so she decided to look somewhere else. She turned to leave and ran smack dab into a boy with curly blond hair.
"Hi. May I help you?" drawled the boy. He had the brightest blue eyes Lily had ever seen. She was a shy girl so a boy talking to her made her go scarlet. "Um. No. I was just leaving." She didn't want to be any bother. She walked down the aisle and had saw something that made her stop dead in her tracks. There was a big white rabbit on the floor hopping down the aisle with a pocket watch in his mouth.
"Hey! Put that down!" the boy behind her yelled at the rabbit. He ran past her and tried to grab the rabbit. But it was too fast for him and he fell flat on his face. He turned, blushing, and said, "Would you help me catch that rabbit? He has my grandfathers watch and granddad will kill me if he knows I lost his watch." The boy looked desperate, so Lily agreed. They followed the bunny down the next aisle and kept their eyes on it. Trying to think of a plan..

When she opened her eyes, she realized that she wasn't in Tweeters Wonderland Antiques. She was in a different world all together. Mushrooms the size of shopping carts were all around her and she could smell chocolate chip cookies. There were flowers that had pedals the size of pizzas.
When she sat up she felt woozy and felt her head. She pulled her hand away and saw blood. She was in the middle of a different world and she was wounded. "Great. Now I'm not going to make it home for Cake and Ice-cream." she growled kicking herself mentally. She bent over to smell the daisy growing beside her. That's where the chocolate chip cookie smell was coming from. In this world the flowers were all baked goods. She got up and walked around slowly. She stopped to smell a tulip that smelled like Brownies. She found a Sweet William that smelled like Pound

She had landed on a mushroom and crushed it. It was smashed like a jack-o-lantern after Halloween. She walked around for a while looking for some sort of road. Maybe if she found out
where she was she could find a way home. She walked into the group of trees near by and immediately regretted it. The trees were alive. They shouted things at her. They scared her enough that she left the woods and ran into a open field full of tall purple grass. It was softer than cotton swabs. She laid down in the grass to rest for a while and lost track of time. Before she knew it was dark. She stumbled back to the group of Mushrooms and used the one she smashed as a pillow. She woke up the next morning and tried something she would never do normally. She tried to eat a flower. She figured that if they smelled so wonderful then their pedals must be good too. She was wrong. She spit the pedal out and went to look for a fruit tree in the group of trees. Again the trees yelled at her. This time she yelled back. Suddenly they shut up.

Except for one of them. the one that was oldest and the most gnarled spoke in a whisper,
"You should eat the stems of the flower, that's where all the taste lies." Lily was slightly surprised by this but she tried it. She went over to the Brownie Tulip and snapped it off at the ground and bit into it. It tasted like brownie batter. She ate it and the chocolate chip cookie dough Daisy.

She went back to the old tree and ask it," How do I get out of here? How did I get here?"
"You fell from the sky. I would say that you need to go lay down in the purple grass and nap for a while. Then see where you are." the old tree whispered.
So Lily went to the purple grass field and laid down. It wasn't hard to go to sleep in that soft grass. But when she woke up she wasn't in the grass field. She was on the couch of her grandmothers den. A large bandage was wrapped around her head and she felt the throbbing of her head. Her grandmother was in the kitchen talking to someone. They came back in and saw the she was awake.
"Your awake!!!" the blond boy shouted. Then he caught him self and whispered, "How are you feeling? I looked in your wallet and found that you lived here. I'm sorry about you falling through the mirror. I am having it fixed and brought here today."
Her grandmother didn't hear the blond boy, who turned out to be named Tobin. He was in her class in school and had sat behind her in English Class for three years. Lily was so absorbed in his eyes that she didn't hear him ask her if she would go to the Spring Formal with him. All she did was nod very slow, because her head hurt awefully bad.

When Tobin left Lily told her grandmother what she had dreamed about while she was out. She told her about smashing a giant mushroom and the talking trees. When Lily told her about the Brownie Tulips and the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Daisies. Her grandmother Alice just smiled and said, "That was a nice dream dear, I had one like it when i was your age."
But Lily didnt think it was a dream by the way her grandmother knew things that she wasnt supposed to know.
A few weeks later, Lily went to the Spring Formal with Tobin. He wore a blue zoot suit and she wore a blue dress with a white apron. The theme? Wishes and Wonderland. Grandma Alice stayed home and looked into her mirror, wondering if it was really a dream at all.
