All things were created because of the 'distance' issue. Even today space the final frontier poses the distance of 'space travel'. When wars in the past have occured evil has tried to seperate or isolate. Other countries, communities, ethnicities, etc..
Each human a beacon of truth see them together the light of a room. People gather for religous meetings, social interaction, etc... Today the world is as connected as ever, but also it is not.
Example =
The real power buisness has is distribution. Contracts with the 'big companies'. Take the theaters. Only so many movies shown for so many times alotted yearly. Incoming! Internet. Each website now has the potential to be a theater. Independent film or those struggling to get on the big screen now need only attract by word of mouth or other wise people to see their internet video. Heck with some of the movies made today someone with real talent who makes a similar length movie's only problem is location and distribution. Charging via credit card has never become easier. And what happens to the theaters? How about companies today with no late fees for movies, you can even watch them instantly online. How about the movie rental stores of the future? Ipods where you can read books online. Navigation systems, where are the maps? Work at home and no coworkers to interact with you. Instead of socalizing you can simply call a phone number and chat with the hot singles in your area. Dating websites. Groccery stores with automated check outs and no cash register interactions. Newspapers are disappearing Etc.. In isolated truth they sit all unaware of the conflicts. Suppressed by nessecity they expand in stupidity. Gather for family reunions, celebrations, etc..
The only entertainment they desire is educational and love
