Summer Nightssssss

A deep lovely blue in the start of the night
Is all I ever wanted, as long as you're in my sight.
I want to hold your hand as we watch the light change to dark,
The contrast of your profile to the sky so blooming and stark.
You take a pause as you look straight into my heart,
And the feelings inside of me erupt sweet and tart.
About a zillion more emotions than stars in the sky
As I admire your fantastically intense eye.
It's the steady gaze that keeps me so shaken,
As well as the hope that you'll never leave me forsaken.
Time passes quickly when adoring up above,
It runs even faster yet when your heart's given the wings of a dove.
