the fear of loving

I like you a lot
of that am sure
So why do I my heart hide?,
and why do I your love shield

I want to get to know you
yes I know I do,
So why do I fear so
when I think of getting close

The feel of love, I want to know
so my love, I can show
But in my mind, I sometimes think
a word like love, there is no such thing

Most times i write from what i see
but this I write from what I feel
And I pray to God my heart so gross
would in the end not suffer loss
