If I Wasn't Born...

If I wasn’t born, my family would be thriving. Never having to struggle to get by. Never having to worry about paying the bills or my brother's swimming fees.

If I wasn’t born my cousin would be dead. Cut down at the age of five. He would have died a slow death. Never would have been brought back up to the air.

If I wasn’t born, two of my friends would of never found Christ. Never would have been saved. They wouldn’t have gone to church. Would still be walking down the road of sin.

If I wasn’t born, my aunt would have no babysitter. One less photo album to look at. Never the replacement daughter for the one she hadn’t gotten yet. Would have one less child to love.

If I wasn’t born, my friends wouldn’t have a bad reputation. They would still be good little children, but unhappy good little children.

If I wasn’t born, my best friend would of kept cutting. She would of dropped dead into her bathtub. She wouldn’t have a person to come to when she wants to cut. To save her from the addiction.

I was born though, and although my family may be struggling to get by, my cousin is alive, those two friends were saved, my aunt has her babysitter, my friends are happy, and my best friend stopped cutting.

The one bad thing caused by me being alive has been overcome by the good I have caused. I feel bad that im the reason my family is struggling but I’m still glad that I was born, and I always will be.
