All 'Bout Courgettes

A home kitchen garden is incomplete without Courgettes. Any squash for that matter can enhance the family’s dinner table experience, providing delicious juicy flavours.

Most cucurbit genus varieties demonstrate good companion growing qualities alongside corn. Perhaps even try climbing legumes such as beans up stalks of maize.

Remember however, these plants are not xerophilous. Consistent, regular watering will be required, especially during fruiting.

Keep pests like snails and slugs well away, but please always ensure vegetables get thoroughly washed to remove nasty chemicals acquired from pesticides or fertilizers.
