Humans fall prey to dry deserts in life! Go the Well that never runs dry!
The Voice of Many Waters

Stagnant cups I drink, a foul tea party.
Toasting to my own laziness and stupidity.
Fearing to do something, I did nothing.
Letting days turn into wasted years.

My fleshly cup is full of dry, foul earth .
Leaving the well of it’s source behind.
I will find clear waters to draw upon,
Replenishing heart and soul to new life.

I go to a well that lives and breathes,
It's source is now deep within my being.
Everflowing, life-giving, and always near,
Drawing with a cup only He drank from.

I gladly let fountains pour from my belly,
See? He is making all former things new!
Dew is in my hair, dripping from my fingers,
My tongue is a moist flower sending perfume.

I speak of His majesty and reflect His glory.
Waves roll over my head as gladly I surrender.
Fountains run to His throne, calling Him "Holy!"
Let them hear the Voice of Many Waters.

author's notes:
God's Holy Spirit is a fountain of everlasting water.
Now matter how dry and dead your life is, He can
make it an oasis of fertile joy! Jesus sent the Holy Spirit
to all who accept Him. Let Him fill you with overflowing
life!

Revelation 22:1-
"Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life,
as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of
God and of the Lamb"

John 4:13-14-
"Jesus answered, "Everyone who drinks this water
will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water
I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him
will become in him a spring of water
welling up to eternal life."
