It's the little things that amaze me
The way you first held my finger so very tight
The little twinkle in your eyes
Your first smile, brighter than the sun
And the way you lit up my world
The way you smell, sweeter than any flower
The feel of your breath against my face
More relaxing than any touch
The sound of your heartbeat as I rock you to sleep
More peaceful than any song
But what absolutey amazes me most
Is the way you took hold of my heart
