Untitled Poem 2

Alone in the dark, alone in the night,
No hope of salvation, hidden from light.
Deep in my mind, drowning in pain,
Emptiness and heartache, forever the same.
There is no escape, there is no relief.
Only the disappearance of every belief.
Broken heart, and dying mind,
Lies and deceit are all I find.
Finding love, finding hate, nothing matters,
My dreams destroyed, my emotion shatters.
Always alone, no one will care,
When in need, no one’s there.
Beneath the quiet, under the mask,
Controlling image, a constant task.
Everything hidden behind the eyes,
Never to show how feeling dies.
