A poetry about music |
TO THE LADY OF MY HEART Oh, how I so much desire your presence, Your name alone ignites my senses Your touch alone troubles my attitude However, if I could loose your grip on me I would have done it by now However, as you know, that is not Because you are the lady of my heart- my soul food Every hour, minute, second of the clock is spent on thinking of you Oh, woman you make me sick; sick of falling into your trap; that trap, which cannot be easily broken, That trap, which imprisons a man’s heart, when he feels doleful and soulful Oh, lady of my heart- my soul food When I hear your rhythms, my dimples rekindle the feelings I have for you, Those feelings I cannot kill with any pill Those ones you cannot ban with any gun Those feelings I feel when you are by me Oh, lady of my heart- my soul food Even now, as I sit reminiscing the great times we have had together, I feel you on my lips Yes, I think it is your lyrics; those dreams I have of you, for they sound like words spoken from the heart Yes, in deed, they are yours Oh, lady of my heart- my soul food Allow me to approach you; however, you may seem reproachful Allow me to befriend you though you may seem unfriendly |
