I know it may seem like I have moved on since we have part
But what you don't realize is that ache is still in my heart
And I know our love will never be the same as before
But I will always love you forever more
So, my sweetest friend, never forget that what we once shared
Will forever bond us together as so many had only dared
Just know that I will always be here as your best friend
And you will hold that special place in my heart as you only can
