A Poem For A Special Someone

Sitting alone in my bedroom is never fun
Wasting another lonely night away
wondering if I am ever going to find someone special
someone who understands
someone who wants to take the time to get to know the real me
Feeling like my life is missing something
Feeling like my heart is not complete
not know if I am ever going to find that special person
someone who wants to take the time to get to know the real me
someone who also will take the time to love and accept me for me
someone who will be there for me through the calm and rocky seas
I want someone who I can love and care for
I want someone who I can be there through all of the calm and rocky seas
I sit and wonder when I might ever have a romantic moment that is perfect
I keep thinking in the back of my mind that I have so much love to give
and I have no one to give it to
I wonder if I am ever going to find someone who is worth me spoiling
and finding someone who is worth me giving all of my heart to
when I thought I had found the one
In the end it always seems that I had been left with a broken heart
and
I do not want to be left with another broken heart again
nor
Do I want to risk breaking someone else's heart because that person
may be the one
Just because I am different
does not mean I do not want to find someone to love
and to hope that someone will find me and allow me to love and care for them
because every one deserves to be loved
no matter what
it is just so hard to wait
not knowing if someone is out there for you
I just wish someone somewhere out there could give me a sign
and show me that in time
I will find that special someone to give my heart to
and love for the rest of my life until the day I die
