Why did you brush the hair from my forehead and kiss my cheek so sweetly?
Why did you look me in the eyes and tell me how beautiful I was and how you thought about me all the time?
You made me believe that we could be, that we could survive all this and move on, you fooled me!

        You didn't want me
        You didn't need me
        You threw me away like the trash on your floor
        You destroyed me and karma is a bitch!


Why did you tell me you had never met anyone like me before?
Why did you hold my hand and embrace me like no others?
You made me feel alive, and then took it all away.


            You didn't pursue me
            You didn't fight for me
            You got what you wanted and walked away
            You damaged me and now you are gone!
