This poem is about the conflict of desire and deserving in love.
Those are the feet
I desired to die at
These are the hands
I desired to be held by
These are the lips
I desired to kiss on
Those are the eyes
I desired to see shy
Thou hast the bosom
I desired to rest upon
Thou hast the touch
I desired to feel
Those are the brows
I could have shade beneath
Thou hast the smile
My pains which could heal
You are the person
I desired to live with
You are the person
I ardently love
You are the one
I’m scared to lose
These are my desires…
You say what I deserve??
