Envy

Darkness blankets me against the cold. It wraps its sweet loving arms around my soul and hides it away from my demons. Protecting my mind with iron clad bars as it fights off the evils that torture my brain. Thoughts of dread fill me as I toss and turn in downy sheets. My dream warriors try and battle them with swords and guns, but yet they attack again and again. It seems as if they never will be defeated. My eyes face the sorrowful ceiling above. Millions of cracks intertwine like a spider mistress’s web. Ever so delicate it ensnares all you come close and never lets them go. I will never be able to escape the mistress of my dreams. She has a hold on my heart and my throat. Her dark thoughts invade mine with each step I take everyday every second I wake. In my dreams we take up forces against her minions of evil, but they evade us every time. Her lovely ruby lips tell me to commit wrong doings while her eyes beg me to do her will. There is no escaping her beauty or her mind. They have ensnared me as the spider does to her prey. She has sunk her poisonous fangs into my still bleeding heart. The poison turns my blood green. It takes control of my body slowly leaving just my eyes to watch as I she controls me to destroy my fragile life. Her vision turns mine green and red. Nothing can let me escape this monster of my mind. I can never escape the mistress know as Envy.
