In Choosing...

Before you choose,
Give careful thought,
And choose as you will,
And not as you ought!

‘Ought’ is a difficult,
And tricky word,
It’s seldom of you,
But of...what you’ve heard!

Especially is this true,
In matters of desire,
Sweeter is the reward,
If your heart’s on fire!

So...in your choices,
Give careful thought,
Heeding not the words:
“Now here’s what you ought...!”
