A call to Nature

One day someone asked me
What according to you
is beautiful in life?
I was baffled for
sometime by this question
But on retrospective
I found the answer
for this baffling question!!!

Look out of your window
The rustling of dry leaves
The dew drops on the tip of grassroots
The blooming of a new bud
The chirping of a bird
The humming of a bee
The roar of sea waves
The twinkling stars in the night sky
The soft breeze that blows
on a full moon night
Everything you see down there
is exquisitely beautiful!!!

But a question pops up in mind
at this juncture
Are we doing real justice to nature?
Have we appreciated its bountiful gifts?
The answer is no.
We have used and exploited nature
for our own benefits!!!
Had we given a moment's thought
to appreciate the beauty of the big oak tree
which gave a huge shade
by standing in our backyard
we would have had no reason
to cut it down!

Everything in life is as simple as this
there is no such thing
as a complicated situation
Just try to appreciate
the beauty of everything
you see around you
cos only then
you will realize that
there is no need to
eliminate them from the face of Earth!!!
