The HOLE

Yes! That hole is all it is, the hole; the emptiness. The hole left by the lack of a shoulder to cry on, the hole left by the unappeased desire to hug a mum, the hole that is caused by the mockery of others, the hole caused by pain and past experiences, the hole dug by inabilities, the hole left by abusive families and negligent parents, the hole drilled in our hearts by heart breaks, and betrayals.



The hole we always run from, but are as our shadows, the hole we so desperately want to fill up, the hole that makes us live in denials, the hole that makes us so unoriginal, the hole that we do not want to admit, the hole that eats our potentials every day, the hole that reduces our value of life. The hole we had all along and never wanted, the hole we do things to cover up, the hole that makes us feel so insecure, the hole that we smoke and drink to fill up. This is the incompleteness that leaves our lives "hopeless", the one that we have sex in order to fill up. We try to pacify this hunger for completeness by killing. The incompleteness that drains the confidence that we have fought so hard to "build" is also the hole that is driving us crazy which we try to cover up with food, clothes, money… the hole that can take a man's life, the hole that has driven thousands to suicide, the hole that pushes people into jail and psychiatric hospitals. The hole that makes us forfeit everything we've ever believed. The desperate urge to fill that hole drives us to do all things we know are wrong and it grows with every wrong step we take. This hole eats every part of our beings and the need to fill it only gives us such excruciating pain. This hole like a black hole, swallows all the joy we are supposed to feel.



The battle is before you. The battle we need to fight in order to cover the hole that feels like a sour wound in our hearts. The battle can be won by you alone. The tools to win are in your hand. The choices you make determine the end result. "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world..." says the bible. In the same way, we should realize that this battle is not physical and cannot be won physically (food, sex, killing, clothes, money, smoking, drinking, drugs…), this is an internal battle, a battle that can be won by yourself, and guess what... the tactic is easy: Accept Jesus into your life, invite him to be your friend. Allow him to fill up that hole and save you from your mindless struggles. The choice is yours, are you ready to fill that hole and stop all that pain…For FREE?
