Caught in a Trance

as I look outside

I am caught in a trance

by the beautiful leaves

of the big pine trees

I see them dance

I see them dance

as the gentle breeze blows

I notice the flower that bloomed last spring

now I see it sinking

from the white blanket of snow

that has the whole stem wrapped inside it

as far as we know

its in a trance

its in a trance

something about this flower catches my eye

I think its the loneliness thats trapped inside
