I composed a work of genius
Warmhearted words destined for you, 
Oh, best friend, sole supporter,
How could you be a soul untrue?

I surfed the Net, perused my words,
They punched me from your facebook wall
Brash, badly chosen, tasteless act!
Everlasting wounds, in shock, I scrawl

Stealing loiters—a crime, unpunished
Purloined verse, expressive larceny;
Embezzling words of genuine faith,
Enduring a callous-crossed boundary

Confess, oh-once-friend felon,
Give credit where praise is due
This costly deed will haunt you ‘ever
Without pause, my ode screams, “Adieu!”
