ON COMPLETING SIXTY EIGHT YEARS


As I pass the sixty eighth
Milestone on the road of life,
I wonder how much is left
Of this path that’s strewn with strife.

This path many have traversed
And many have faltered too.
Some attained the goal and some
Failed though they attempted true.

As I slowly tread along,
Lord, I ask You simply this:
I may never forget Your
Commandments as per Your wish.
