Flames in a frantic dance

Serious wood snapping
          sizzling
                   with succulent sounds

Frenzy ignites with intense hues
         seething
                   blistering possibilities
         desperate to consume space

Romantic fantasies coursing through cavernous logs
         marked with soot and ashes
                   smudged with smoke and spirit
         mesmerized by scarlet embers
                             that embrace the fevered mistress


Camp fire's personal race raging
                   yet soul soothing
         peace is placed in a storm

Mini sparks of flickering lights
                   fire-faeries
         finally released
                             to seek a family of infinite stars

Only to get lost in a fiery passion of
         surround sound
                   and an ebony frame of night

Flames tapered to a trance
