Character Profiles The Black Fog

         The Black Fog- More evil than even Trin herself, it is as it is named.  A fog that is blacker than the void, but to the touch, much more deadly.  With one touch, it will kill your living body, but take your soul inside it, making it more powerful.  However, there is a way to beat this thing; light from the sun can kill it.  Though it has to be shining over all of it, otherwise it’ll still live. 
         The reason I’m calling it an “it” is because it is, it has blood red, very pointy eyes.  No pupils or anything, but it can speak out loud and communicate telepathically.  Usually it appears at night, in shade during the day, or during an eclipse.  Sometimes it has the power to summon clouds to block the sun.  It can shoot out long thin arm-like things that can trap you, encase you or just to spread out further.  Its voice is deep and sounds male, but it has no specific gender.
         No Norean, Demon, or any other creature knows where this thing came from, or when it first appeared.  But anyone who has seen it hasn’t bothered to take a moment to ask.  Considering that your about to die anyway, it might just tell you.  This thing isn’t limited only to one world, and it doesn’t take prisoners.
         However, Trin did manage to make a deal with it, she of course, wanted it to kill Sheru, and it got to keep her soul, but at a cost.  Trin, to Sherus findings of there later encounter, learned that she gave this monster her former husbands soul as payment!  To this day, this creature still hunts Sheru, waiting for the right moment to strike.

         Again, The Black Fog describes it perfectly.  Mist would sound more girlish and friendly, and this creature is everything but.  It’s said that seeing him, is seeing beyond the boundaries of space itself.
